Donnelley & Sons Company to design and develop an Internet-based system to provide Internet Yellow Page services nationwide to the Company's telephone directory publishing clients.

ATG's Innovation Consulting Group and its application design team will architect the site utilizing the Company's applied personalization technology including Dynamo Developer's Kit, a 100% server-side Java framework for creating dynamic and powerful Web applications. ATG's Dynamo technology is the industry's most comprehensive Internet product suite available for building and managing Web environments that deliver personalized experiences for each and every visitor to ensure customer satisfaction -- the basis of what ATG calls Relationship Commerce.

R.R. Donnelley will offer each customer a packaged Web solution that provides all of the listings and display advertising found in the print version of the Yellow Pages. Using this solution built on Dynamo technology, R.R. Donnelley customers will be able to collect detailed information about its members such as geographic location, to personalize and target the information presented to each user. Visitors to the local telephone directory site will be able to seek and retrieve additional information such as maps, directions and links to related Web sites.

According to Stephen Purduski of the Digital Media Center at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, ATG's direct industry experience in building large-scale sites for companies such as Sony Online Ventures, along with its Dynamo personalization technology to track and target users and customize content, played a key role in R.R. Donnelley's decision.
