MSU Corp.'s Slipstream(TM) Internet Box To Be Exhibited At COMDEX

October 10, 1996

MSU Corp. (OTC: MUCP) is arranging meetings in New York City with interested parties to preview the final preproduction model of its Slipstream(TM) Internet box which uses MSU's proprietary Internet Service Processor (iSP) chip.

In addition, MSU has also invited Michael Hulme, vice president of licensing and strategic alliances of Zilog Inc. to be present to answer questions about their partnering arrangement.

"The Slipstream(TM) Internet Box attaches to a television set as easily as a VCR and allows the user to `surf' the internet, send email and perform other functions while using the Television screen as a monitor," said Keith Hall, president of MSU Corp. "The end user has three ways to access the Internet if desired: via remote control, an on-line keyboard, or a regular PC keyboard plugged into the unit.

"While there have been many announcements in the media from companies claiming to have internet connecting products," said Hall, "MSU is the first to ship product. What sets the Slipstream(TM) Internet Box apart is that it is 100% compatible with any television set and can compete with any other internet access product on quality, price, and peripherals," stated Hall. "Where competitive solutions are currently limited to one servicer provider, MSU offers OEM manufacturers the freedom to develop hardware formats and end users a multiple choice of internet service providers.

"The same technology which makes the Slipstream(TM) possible, is the same technology which Zilog Inc. will be incorporating into its chip design as part of our previously announced partnering agreement," said Hall. "Having Mike Hulme here with us at this meeting will allow interested parties to gain a better understanding of what both companies intend to achieve."

"We were impressed with MSU's chip architecture, which offers superior audio-video capabilities and efficient use of silicon," said Mike Hulme, Zilog's vice president of licensing and strategic alliances. "MSU's proprietary software uses half the memory of other Internet products, making it a more affordable solution."

MSU Corp.'s Slipstream(TM) Internet Box is also going to be exhibited in two separate areas, the British Pavilion and the Internet Product Section at the upcoming Las Vegas COMDEX show this November 18-22.

MSU Corp. designs, licenses and sells proprietary computer chips and chipsets and other products for use by internationally known OEM manufacturers of multimedia consumer and computer products. The company's proprietary chipsets and associated systems are utilized in CD-based video entertainment and education computer systems involving full motion and animation, high-quality sound, and interactive capabilities.
